WelBridge is not a law firm, accounting firm, bank, or financial institution. We operate as an intermediary service, facilitating connections between our clients and licensed Portuguese professionals, including lawyers, accountants, and financial advisors who are duly accredited by their respective professional bodies.

WelBridge facilitates the acquisition of your Portuguese Tax Identification Number (NIF) by coordinating with accredited Portuguese legal representatives on your behalf.
Delivery: Standard service: 10 business days. Express service: 5-7 business days.
Fiscal Representation: Non-EU residents require a fiscal representative in Portugal. First year of fiscal representation is included. Annual renewal: €67/year.
WelBridge assists with obtaining your Portuguese Social Security Identification Number (NISS), guiding you through the current requirements established by Segurança Social.
Important: Due to requirements implemented in July 2024, NISS applications require proof of employment status and proof of residence permit application. Clients must ensure they meet these requirements before engaging our service.
WelBridge facilitates the process of opening a Portuguese personal bank account through coordination with licensed Portuguese attorneys who liaise with partner banking institutions.
Disclaimer: The final decision to approve a bank account rests solely with the banking institution. WelBridge cannot guarantee account approval. Service fees do not include initial deposit requirements or ongoing bank fees.
WelBridge provides comprehensive support for Portuguese visa applications, including D7 (Passive Income), D2 (Entrepreneur), D8 (Digital Nomad), and other visa categories.

Disclaimer: Visa approval decisions are made solely by Portuguese consular authorities and AIMA. WelBridge cannot guarantee visa approval. We provide guidance and support but do not have influence over government decisions.
For non-EU residents, WelBridge provides ongoing fiscal representation services as required by Portuguese tax law.

All prices displayed on our website are in Euros (€) and include our service fees as described. Prices are subject to change without notice; however, any price changes will not affect orders already confirmed and paid.
Full payment is required at the time of order unless otherwise specified. Service delivery commences upon payment confirmation and receipt of all required documentation from the client.
If paying in a currency other than Euros, your financial institution may apply currency conversion fees or foreign transaction fees. These charges are determined by your payment provider and are not included in our service pricing.
If we are unable to obtain your NIF due to our error or oversight, you are entitled to a full refund. Refunds are not available if failure results from incomplete or inaccurate documentation provided by the client.
If your NISS application is rejected due to factors within our control, we will either resubmit your application at no additional cost or provide a partial refund. Rejections due to client documentation issues or failure to meet Portuguese government requirements are not eligible for refund.
In the event of bank refusal, clients are entitled to a 50% refund (€125). No refund is available if refusal results from client-provided false or incomplete information.
Cancellation before document submission: 100% refund. After document submission to our legal team: 50% refund. After submission to consular authorities: No refund available. Visa refusals by authorities do not qualify for refunds as the decision rests with government bodies.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 15 business days. Refund amounts may be reduced if promotional discount codes were applied to the original purchase.

All content on the WelBridge website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design elements, is the property of WelBridge or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you retain any mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of residence. You may also have access to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform for alternative dispute resolution.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and WelBridge regarding your use of our services.
